1. ¿What is a domain?

It is a name, word, number that allows you to identify yourself on the Internet. A domain name is the conversion to text for an IP address. 2. ¿What does it mean .cr?

The .cr is the top-level domain (Top Level Domain) for Costa Rica, and under which are grouped all domains of second and third level registered in our country ( .cr, .co. cr, .ed.cr, .ac.cr, .or.cr, .go.cr, .fi.cr, .sa.cr). cr corresponds to the two-letter code for Costa Rica according to RFC 1591 of ICANN. 3. ¿What is a top-level domain (TLD)?

6. ¿What types of domains managed NIC-Internet Costa Rica?

NIC-Internet Costa Rica administers two types of domains, which are detailed below:

7. ¿What is a subdomain and those who register?
